Our church is a safe, welcoming environment where everyone is known, valued, and loved. Come as you are and find a community where you truly belong.
Through Bible teaching, discipleship groups, and meaningful relationships, we encourage each other to grow deeper in our walk with Christ. No matter where you are in your journey, there’s room to grow here.

We care deeply about relationships with God, with each other, and with our community. One thing that makes Taylor Street unique is our focus on intergenerational worship. We believe the church is stronger when people of all ages come together to learn, grow, and serve. Everyone has something to offer and something to gain.
We also value spiritual growth that meets people where they are. From Bible classes and small groups to youth ministry and service opportunities, we provide ways for people at every stage of life to grow in their faith.
We are committed to living out the values of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Our mission is to love God, love others, and share the good news of Jesus Christ.Â
At Taylor Street, we trust God’s goodness. Trust means believing that God’s way is better even when we don’t understand it, and obedience is how we show that belief in action. We cultivate faith by trusting God for who He is, not just what He might do.
Taylor Street Church of Christ is a home away from home. We strive to welcome everyone, whether you are new to faith, returning, or simply exploring. Our church is made up of people of all ages, backgrounds, and walks of life, brought together by a shared desire to follow Jesus.
Our Sunday and Wednesday Bible classes and ministry paths are designed to help each of us grow spiritually and discover God’s purpose for our lives. We also believe that faith begins and continues in the home. We hope to guide and minister to you, while encouraging you to live out your faith in your everyday life as you follow Christ.
We are charged by Jesus in the Great Commission to go and make disciples of all nations. This entails spreading the word of God, teaching others, and supporting fellow Christians in their walk of faith.
We strive to glorify God through worship that is rooted in scripture and that draws us closer to Him. Worship is not through song alone or confined to a church building. Worship is any good done towards God’s kingdom, anytime, any place.
We believe faith grows stronger when generations walk together. Our church values relationships that bridge ages where kids, students, and adults learn from one another, share wisdom, and grow side by side. We want every person to feel connected and valued, no matter their stage of life.
We invite you to explore our beliefs and join us in our pursuit of living out our faith in boldness and passion.
There is one God – Father, Son, and Holy Spirit; three spiritual beings united as one in divine love throughout eternity. (Romans 8:1-17; Ephesians 1:3-14)
Jesus Christ is the Son of God and came to the earth as a part of God’s plan for our salvation, lived a sinless, perfect life, suffered death on the cross, was raised from the dead to again be with God in power and glory, and established his church with the power of the Holy Spirit working through the apostles. (1 Corinthians 15:3-4; Ephesians 1:18-23)
The Holy Spirit is gifted to us by baptism and helps us speak and bear witness. He is the Counselor who teaches and reminds us of what we need to know and remember. He is our comforter, our advisor, our encourager, and our strength. He guides us in the way we should go. (Mark 13:11; Luke 12:12; Psalm 143:10; John 14-16; 1 Corinthians 2:9-10; 1 John 5:6-8)
We believe that Jesus Christ is the Head of the church. Our faith rests on Him alone as our Lord and Savior who died on the cross and rose again three days later. Growth only happens through a personal relationship with Him. Colossians 1:18
The Bible is the living word of God, and Jesus was the word of God in the flesh. We believe that Scripture is clear and sufficient to guide us in wisdom and in our relationship with God. We know that the word was written by God’s people, but it was inspired and willed by the Holy Spirit. (Hebrews 4:12, John 1:1, 2 Timothy 3:16)
Salvation involves teaching, faith, repentance, confession, and baptism by immersion. We believe that through baptism, we are accepting God’s gift of forgiveness and the washing of our sins away through His Son, Jesus Christ. After baptism, we are charged to live faithfully as Christians by loving God, loving others, and making disciples of all people. Ephesians 2:8-9, Acts 2:38, 1 Peter 1:18-19, Isaiah 53:5, Galatians 3:26-27
We observe communion weekly in remembrance of Jesus Christ and His sacrifice on the cross. This is a time to repent for your sins, ask for forgiveness, and express gratitude towards Jesus for salvation through Him. Our communion is open to any baptized believer. (1 Corinthians 11:23-29)
Salvation is a free gift of God through his grace given to believers who place their faith in Jesus Christ, confess Jesus as Lord, and are baptized into his name for the remission of their sins, at which time God adds them to his body, the church, and they will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. (Romans 10:9; Ephesians 2:1-10; Galatians 3:26-29)
At Taylor Street Church of Christ, we strive to follow God’s Word, the Bible, and its teachings. We believe that, as Jesus taught, we should love God and love others, as this sums up all of the law and the prophets. (Matthew 22:36-40)
We are an autonomous body of Christians under the spiritual oversight of elders (1 Peter 5:1-3). We meet weekly to worship God through singing, prayer, Bible study, fellowship, and communion.
Jesus will return in his heavenly glory, at a time known only by the Father, to judge the living and the dead, and the Lord will separate the righteous from the unrighteous. The unrighteous will be separated from God forever, but the righteous will gain eternal life, dwelling in the presence of God the Father forever. (Matthew 25:31-46; 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18)
